Fredrick Trotteville (Fatty), Laurence Daykin (Larry),
Philip Hilton (Pip), Margaret Daykin (Daisy) and Elizabeth Hilton (Bets) along
with the dog Buster form the “Five Find-outers and dog “. They have solved so
many mysteries in the town, much to the annoyance of Mr. Goon, the village
policeman. Starting with the person who burnt his own cottage and ending with
people who sell off originals for fakes, the series ends with Fatty saying that 'they
